The St. Lawrence Valley Repeater Association Fall meeting has been schedule for Sunday, October 28 at McCarthy's Restaurant in Canton. Arrival time is between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. with dinner from the menu at 2:00 p.m. followed by dessert and the meeting. Please plan on attending. We need to encourage getting new members inducted to keep our repeater up and running.

One of our founding members has become SK

N4TW moved to contact Jackie Innes-Brown about getting a memorium club call (W2IB) to use for

our repeaters. KC2GHT second. Passed. N4TW will contact Jackie and proceed to request the

KA2JXI reported that W2IB had asked KC2GHT to accept duties of Net Manager for the Q-Net.

KC2GHT is now net manager. He will collect net statistics and report monthly to the SM and SNM.

KA2JXI suggested that the secretary/treasurer include minutes of the previous meeting and a treasurers

report in meeting notices, and that notices be mailed or emailed to members at least 6 days in advance

of meetings, so they can plan to attend. Also that each notice indicate whether or not the member's

WV2HJK suggested that putting up the 9 DB gain antenna to replace the present 6 DB gain antenna

The meeting was called to order at 2:16 PM by WV2HJK, T- Report was accepted as written in the newsletter

OLD Business

N2MX made a motion to have the newsletter / notice sent by e-mail in order to save low funds, thus use the money to keep the repeater working.

New Business

Roger and Michael (KA2JXI / N2MX) may look to replace the 220 repeater at the up coming hamfest’s; With a 440 Repeater. (None found)

Roger stated that he had a 440 repeater that he might be able to convert to our use. He is looking to get a 440 pair but has yet to get one, N2MX has offered to let SLVRA use his 440 pair, more on this latter by Roger.
